  12. I am using a Cardinal 28.8 Ext. MVP288XF, under Windows '95, using dial 
  13. up networking , and occassionally running Prodigy.

  15. For about a month, everything worked fine.  Then, last Saturday the modem 
  16. disconnected during a Prodigy session and nothing worked right!  Kept 
  17. getting "Not communicating with modem"  messages and no connections
  18.  
  19. Cardinal techs unable to help or explain the problem!

  21. Read this newsgroup yesterday evening and downloaded the Vers. 1.4, 
  22. firmware - Loaded Successfully, and with the new W'95 drivers, things are 
  23. working most of the time.
  24.  
  25. Any ideas on why this modem should suddenly quit, and on how to make it 
  26. more stable would be greatly appreciated.
